How to tune a guitar

D has the same chord as the chord tone down the slot 5.

G String has the same tone as the D string down on the space 5.

String B has the same tone as the G string down on the area in April.

String s (thin) have the same tone as the B string down on the space 5.    

When it comes to learning to play guitar, it's important to invest in good equipment. If budget is limited, however, you can always use the online tuner to the right of the website (click on each note and you'll hear the correct tone of each string).

Remember that when you play - either a band or just for yourself - you must have in hand a well tuned instrument.
