Guitar tricks

If you liked the series of tips for beginners(click) that I gave the site a while ago, surely you will find these recommendations useful and valid for guitar players regardless of level. There are small details, but time will help to define and consolidate your style, discipline, identity as a musician. I take account of them without exception and tell you honestly that I have helped ...
1. Learn something new: even if you have experience playing for a long time, certainly at least a technical or a genre you have not experienced. Only by being open to things and in November sounds you'll be able to avoid the ceiling in terms of music. Anything new is evolving.
2. Try the original agreement: let your fingers slip off the ropes, making the most unexpected combinations. There are hundreds of possibilities, the only limit is your imagination. Playing with these combinations of agreements you will get the improvisational looseness and who knows, maybe one day you wake up singing a new song ... yours!
3. Do not limit yourself to the guitar: start studying (even if not with the same resources of time and commitment) as another musical instrument. It can be piano, violin or even music:) How long will open ear and will help to free your creativity, the choice is yours.
4. Put your ears to work: when you want to learn a new piece, does not search on Google the first after its agreements, trying to find one, even if at first you go through the trial. This exercise develops your musical hearing better than you might imagine and as you will see that the "remove" a play by ear no longer seemed something so difficult. In addition, think that generations of guitarists have learned such songs before the Internet age ... and no one has died from it:)
5. Feel the rhythm: cadence count steps when walking on the street or do your exercises in 4 / 4 when you're at the gym. Find other ingenious ways (even if they seem silly) to find any rhythm and you will see that the ability to "feel" will naturally and positively reflect on your music. Remember what Tommy Emmanuel said: "If There's no groove, can't move the body."
6. Be relaxed: I mean both the hand position and the posture. To feel better in times when play is essential: a musician stressed, uncomfortable, tense and bent wrists with all the guitar not only looks good, but did not really manage to convey the state song ...
7. Train your fingers: you can use Grip Master's degree to do little exercises that you do not take up too much time, but are 100% beneficial to the knuckles, wrist and forearm. It's like you make fitness: tone your arms you to be better, faster, more "consistent", more relaxed.
8. Avoid monotony: if you're used to playing the guitar, get the sound. If you have practiced far more sound, experimenting with electricity. And if you're familiar with both, trying to sing flamenco:) any good for breaking the monotony of your creativity.
9. Respect your guitar: clean it at regular intervals, change the strings as soon as they start to wear out, keep it in optimal conditions of temperature, transport it in a waterproof pouch or a solid house. Do not borrow if you do not trust a person and not treat as a mere object. Discipline and respect for your musical instrument are two qualities that will count a lot in future professional musician career.
10. Familiarise yourself with the instrument: setup discover what inspires you the most, what gives you the string sound you want, what accessories can help you "call" better. Drop cords, get them back until you find the ideal position for you, play with tones ... total freedom to experiment is beginning artist!
